Once a month, I’ll go looking for something peculiar.
It might be an unusual place, a forgotten story, a local legend,
an old superstition or simply something that catches my curiosity
and makes me want to know more.
I’ll take my camera with me, photograph what I find and dig a little deeper
into the stories, folklore and history surrounding it.
Then I’ll turn that discovery into a Society Dispatch,
carefully put together and sent through the post.
Inside you’ll find an original black-and-white photograph taken by me,
a handwritten letter telling you the story behind that month’s discovery,
and a small collection of curious things chosen to bring the story to life.
Every photograph will be individually numbered as part of
The Peculiar Post Society Archive,
beginning with PPS-001.
No algorithms. No notifications. Nothing asking anything of you.
Just something made by a human, sent to another human, with a story to tell.
